How do I search and apply for a Job?
It is easy! Go to the search bar and use keywords. You can customize your search by using filters such as industry, season, and a part-time or full-time schedule. Remember to sign up to receive regular new job alerts.
How can I find a place to live?
House prices and housing shortages have been on the rise in the past few years in the Kootenays so plan for your accommodation. Access information about rentals through Facebook groups such as Golden Homes for Rent or Sale, Golden Classifieds, and Golden Community. Also, you can visit www.rentalsingolden.com
What kind of community groups are there in Golden?
Many people connect with the community through Facebook. Try joining one of these groups to meet people and get information about activities: Golden Active Ladies, Golden Cycling Club, Golden Nordic Ski Club Society, Yoga in Golden, Golden Snowmobile Club, Golden Curling Club, and Golden Light Horse Club. How can I get to Golden without a vehicle?
Throughout the year, Rider Express operates a bus service. You can visit www.riderexpress.ca to learn more about schedules and prices. In the winter ski season, the Champagne Powder Shuttle operates between Calgary Airport, Golden, and Kicking Horse. Visit Golden Shuttle for more information.
I am from another country. Where can I get information about immigration programs?

How do I post a job?
You must register by creating an account and a password to use the Work in Golden site. From there, you can log in, post, and manage jobs from your account. You can also add new jobs, edit, delete, or unpublish your postings. Read the User Guide for more information.
What if I forget my password?
You can reset your password easily. When you log in to your account, put your email and click on the "I forgot my password" option. You will receive a link in your email. Click on it to reset your password, create a new one, and confirm it.
