Class 2 Bus Driver

Wild Water Adventures is a premium whitewater rafting operator seeking full-time and part-time Class 2 Bus Drivers for the upcoming 2025 rafting season. Our daily trips take place on the world-famous Kicking Horse River, 20 minutes from Golden BC, where you will be expected to provide exceptional service to our guests on all our rafting day trips. Contract length: 4 Months
Expected start date: May 12, 2025
Expected end date: September 18, 2025
Job Type: Full-time or part-time seasonal
Wage: $26 per hour

Position Summary

The Drivers have an active role in our rafting trip operations, transporting guests and guides to and from the river. They also take trip photos for each rafting adventure. 

Duties of the Drivers include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Maintaining buses – completing daily pre-trip inspections and keeping the buses clean
• Driving school buses with automatic transmission and no airbrakes to and from the river, sometimes with a trailer attached
• Photographing rafters and their trip experience
• Working closely with the Guiding team and Guest Services Crew to ensure efficient trip logistics
• Provide professional, outstanding customer service

Qualifications

• Clean Class 2 driver’s licence or equivalent from any province is an absolute requirement. We can assist you with getting a Class 2 if you don't have one yet
• Previous commercial/passenger driving experience an asset
• Photography skills an asset, however training will be provided
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with an attitude towards safety
