Position Overview:

As a remote bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting the financial well-being of our small business clients. This is a fully remote position or you’re welcome to come work from our office on Golden, allowing you the freedom to choose where you work from, while still contributing to the success of a vibrant, growing firm. This is a part-time position 20-30 hours /week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records for a variety of small businesses
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Process payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports
  • Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Communicate with clients regularly to address financial questions and concerns
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks Online or similar software preferred)
  • Bookkeeping Certification or similar
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
  • A passion for helping small businesses succeed

Salary: $23 - 30 / hour DOE
