Light Duty Cleaner

Program Description:
Through Better at Home, seniors receive simple services that help to support their independence such as
transportation to appointments, housekeeping, grocery and medication pick up and friendly visiting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

● Go to clients’ homes and perform various cleaning duties; wipe all surfaces, vacuum floors and
furniture, sanitize bathrooms and kitchens, dust, etc.
● Follow guidelines from the program regarding what we do and what we don’t do in client’s homes.
● Pick up and delivery of groceries and medications.
● Transporting seniors within town to appointments and events.
● Communicate with the Program Coordinator and manager feedback and needs of the seniors.

● Qualifications/Requirements:

● High level of confidentiality and discretion, able to provide a clean criminal record check.
● Experience working with seniors and diverse populations and the ability to work with people from
different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.
● Excellent organizational and time management skills.
● Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, able to provide a clean driver's abstract.
● Reliable, consistent, mature and respectful.
