Job Description
Wage: $27.65 - $36.00 per hour
Part time: 20hrs a month
Role Summary
Reporting to the Owner the Marketing, Graphic Design & Social Media Administrator oversees continuous maintenance of Day2Day Books brand aesthetics, designing and publishing compelling, creative assets for digital platforms that reflect client brands and lifestyle, and drive online engagement and sales. This role is hybrid/remote
Accountabilities
- Oversee social media platforms including development of strategy and content, defining most important KPIs, and measuring the success of each campaign in conjunction with goals.
- Manage social media calendars for both Day2Day Books.
- Use social media marketing tools such as: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIN, Mail Chimp.
- Prepare periodic newsletters for Day2Day, and create Micro Newsletters for small campaigns.
- Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
- Develop opportunities to ‘sell’ marketing & social media services to client base.
- Coach clients on website preparation, development, and communication processes such as script, forms and follow-up graphics.
- Create and maintain an in-house Marketing plan for Day2Day Books.
Responsibilities
- Keep manager and team members informed of progress, significant issues and deadlines within Asana and as needed via email and/or phone communication for time sensitive tasks.
- Maintain knowledge of latest social media trends, best practices and technologies.
- Keep up to date with changes within the multiple apps and tools used, by participating in webinars and/or training, as approved by the Managing Director.
- Keep track of hours spent on each task / client.
- Ensure that all graphics are developed, delivered and published on time across all digital platforms.
- Maintain accuracy of all site content.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Sales, Marketing, and/or Graphic Design role, with a minimum of 3 years managing data and collateral for business.
- Four+ years of client and customer relations experience in a professional service environment.
- Photography skills and editing experience.
- Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Fluency with Google Apps, Asana, MS Office, and knowledge of QuickBooks (Online).
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite AI, PS, ID, Acrobat Pro, LightRoom.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to write professional correspondence.
- Demonstrated competency to create consistent communications that reflect brand, services and opportunities.
- Hands-on experience with (productivity applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, email clients, and presentation software).
- Post secondary, Bachelor degree or Sales, Marketing or Graphic Design specific qualifications required.
